During the 2024 repair campaign, the Timashyov branch of Rosseti Kuban plans to overhaul 30 transformer substations and more than 300 km of 0.4-10 kV overhead power transmission lines (PTLs) in settlements in the Timashyov, Kanevsky, Bryukhovetsky, Kalininsky and Primorsko-Akhtarsk districts of the Krasnodar Territory.

Power engineers will replace more than 500 poles on power transmission lines, carry out maintenance and repair of crossbeams, insulators, and clear protection zones of PTLs of shrubs and woody vegetation. Clearing of protection zones significantly reduces the number of technological disruptions and network damage caused by tree branches falling on wires during bad weather, ensuring stable power supply to consumers.

It is also planned to replace bare wire with modern self-supporting insulated wire (SIW). It is resistant to mechanical damage and severe weather conditions. Its use will help reducing the number of technological failures caused by ice formation, snow buildup and strong winds, as well as improve the safety and reliability of electricity supply. A total of 38 km of wire on overhead PTLs will be renewed.

For stable functioning of power facilities, 30 transformer substations will be repaired, where overhaul and replacement of switches, transformers, disconnectors and other equipment will be carried out. In order to prevent electric injuries to third parties, dispatch names and safety signs will be updated at power facilities.

The 10-0.4 kV distribution network is a long and branched system of power transmission lines designed to transmit and distribute electricity from substations directly to consumers. The use of advanced technologies and high-quality Russian materials during repairs will allow to bring the reliability of electricity supply to a qualitatively new level.

Timashyov electric network serve the territory with a total area of more than 9.3 thousand sq. km and a population of over 370 thousand people. The branch's area of responsibility includes five administrative districts of the Krasnodar Territory: Timashyov, Kanevsky, Bryukhovetsky, Kalininsky and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. The main equipment of the branch includes 20 110 kV substations, 64 35 kV substations and 2,339 10/0.4 kV transformer substations. The length of overhead power transmission lines is more than 10 thousand km.
