Rosseti Kuban Will Improve the Reliability Of 150 Km of High-Voltage PTLs In the South-West Of Kuban
Back

In 2024, power engineers of the South-Western branch of Rosseti Kuban plan to repair 26 power transmission lines (PTLs) of 35-110 kV voltage class with a total length of more than 150 km. These power facilities are the most important transit link for supplying electricity to five districts in the south-west of the Krasnodar Territory.

High-voltage power transmission lines included in the annual repair program provide electricity to more than 300,000 household consumers, over 400 socially important facilities and a number of backbone enterprises in the suburbs of Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, as well as the Abinsk and Krymsk districts of the Krasnodar Territory.

During the overhaul specialists plan to replace about six thousand obsolete insulators, install 168 sets of line-coupling fittings and more than 320 bird protection devices.

It is also planned to carry out thermal imaging inspection of 55 high-voltage power transmission lines with the length of about 550 km and to clear more than 50 hectares of PTL routes from woody and shrubby vegetation. This will reduce the probability of technological disruptions due to branches and trees falling on wires during bad weather.

The high-voltage network will be repaired in accordance
with the energy company's repair program for 2024. A set of measures will make it possible to prevent technological failures and ensure uninterrupted and high-quality power supply to residents and socially important facilities during summer peak loads and the holiday season.
