As part of the reconstruction of a key power facility in the Takhtamukai district of the Republic of Adygea - a 110 kV substation - specialists from the Krasnodar branch of Rosseti Kuban completed the installation of two power transformers with a voltage class of 110 kV and a capacity of 40 MVA each. Primary equipment for transmission and distribution of electricity has been installed. As a result of this upgrading, the substation's capacity will increase 2.5 times - from 50 to 130 MVA. The volume of investments in the reconstruction of the power facility exceeds RUB 1.2 billion.

Power engineers constructed buildings of a closed switchgear and a modern operational control centre. Inside the control centre, relay protection and automation equipment, communication, telemechanical equipment and an automated power metering system were placed. Modern equipment and components of domestic production are used in the reconstruction of the substation.

Currently, specialists are constructing and installing packaged switchgears. These are electrical plants in which power equipment, protection and automation devices, and control systems are integrated.

Let us recall that in 2023 power engineers of Krasnodar power grids carried out the reconstruction of the 10 kV distribution network adjacent to the substation. This made it possible to improve the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers and reduce the time of power outages. In addition, it became possible to transfer loads between power facilities.

Work on the upgrading of the power facility is being carried out under the Agreement on Cooperation and Collaboration between the Head of the Republic of Adygea and Rosseti Kuban. The reconstruction of the substation will improve the quality of power supply to the MEGA Adygea family shopping centre and nearby settlements, as well as provide the possibility of technological connection of a strategically important facility of the Takhtamukai district - the industrial technical park. The upgrading is planned to be completed by the end of 2024.

Krasnodar electric networks provide electricity to consumers of rural districts of the city of Krasnodar and six adjacent regions of the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea. The branch's area of responsibility includes the suburbs of Krasnodar, Dinskaya, Seversky, municipal settlement Goryachy Klyuch of the Krasnodar Territory, as well as Adygeisk, Teuchezhsk and Takhtamukai districts of the Republic of Adygea with a total population of more than 1.5 million people. The branch serves 88 substations of 35-110 kV and more than 2,150 transformer substations. The total installed capacity is 5,590 MVA.
