The Labinsk branch of Rosseti Kuban launched the 2024 repair program for distribution network facilities in the Labinsk, Kurganinsk, and Mostovskoy districts of the Krasnodar Territory. Power engineers will repair over 120 power facilities, including more than 60 transformer substations and 60 kilometres of power transmission lines (PTLs).
To improve the reliability of power supply to consumers, the energy sector will carry out scheduled repair of 64 complete transformer substations, which includes replacement of circuit breakers, arresters, disconnectors and other equipment elements.
Power engineers will prepare 63 overhead power transmission lines of 0.4-10 kV voltage class for operation in the autumn-winter period. 250 poles, over 600 insulators, 42 kilometres of bare wire will be replaced on the PTL. The specialists will clean almost 24 hectares of clearings and prune 900 trees. These works significantly reduce the number of technological disruptions and network damage caused by tree branches falling on wires during bad weather, ensuring stable power supply to consumers.
This year, the branch's employees will also replace over 400 lines to private households using self-supporting insulated wire. Modern wire guarantees reliable power transmission regardless of weather conditions, provides maximum protection against electrical injuries and unauthorised connections to power grids.
Labinsk power grids of Rosseti Kuban supplies electricity to three municipalities: Labinsk, Kurganinsk, and Mostovskoy districts of the Krasnodar Territory. The branch is responsible for 7.5 thousand km of overhead power transmission lines, 50 substations of 35-110 kV voltage and more than 1.5 thousand transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV.
