In 2024, as part of the investment program, power engineers of the Sochi branch of Rosseti Kuban plan to build 112 km of power transmission lines (PTLs) and install 18 new transformer substations with a total capacity of 21 MVA. In addition, the company will reconstruct more than 27 km of PTLs and 23 transformer stations with a total capacity of more than 14 MVA in the Sochi energy district.

A large-scale program for the reconstruction and construction of 110 kV high-voltage substations has been developed. The company will carry out works at three power supply centres in the Sochi energy district at once.

In addition, power engineers plan to improve the reliability of electricity supply and connect new consumers to the power grid. 18 socially significant facilities - a school, a children day care center, apartment buildings for those resettled from dilapidated housing - are among them.

- At the end of 2023, power engineers of the Sochi branch of Rosseti Kuban completed construction of 186 new power facilities, including almost 70 km of PTLs, 30 transformer and distribution stations, and reconstructed three 110 kV supply centres with a total capacity of 210 MVA. Electric networks were built to supply power to 10 socially important facilities and to put 12 gas stations into operation," Edgar Armaganyan, First Deputy General Director, Director of Sochi electric networks, a branch of Rosseti Kuban, said.

In 2024, Rosseti Kuban has planned a substantial investment program due to the growing demand for connecting new consumers to power grids and the development of the energy district as a whole.
