Rosseti Kuban has added 5.8 thousand new consumers to the company's networks in the Sochi energy district

Specialists of the Sochi branch of Rosseti Kuban provided reliable electricity to more than 5.8 thousand new consumers. Those connected included household subscribers, enterprises in the resort city districts, as well as medical and educational institutions.

Among the socially significant objects connected to the network is a new office of a general practitioner on the Dzhaparidze street, stadium of sports school No. 6 on Pavlov Lane in the Lazarevsky district of the resort city of Sochi. In addition, the capacity for power supply for school No. 80 in the Lazarevsky district on Kalarash street has been increased.

On the territory of the Tuapse district, Sochi power engineers provided electricity to a new school in the Olginka village and the construction site of a sports complex in the Dzhubga village.

Potential subscribers requested a total capacity of over 180 MW. The main part of applicants are consumers of preferential category, individuals up to 15 kW and legal entities with power of electrical installations up to 150 kW. To connect them, the power company built more than 40 km of power lines and reconstructed more than 20 transformer substations, increasing the capacity of equipment to provide high-quality and reliable power supply.

In total, from the beginning of 2023, the Sochi electric networks received about seven thousand applications for connecting to electric networks and increasing power capacity.

The Sochi branch of Rosseti Kuban provides electricity to three municipalities: the Sochi city district, the federal territory Sirius and the Tuapse district with a total population of about 700 thousand people. The branch's area of responsibility includes 29 110 kV substations and 1,876 transformer substations. The total installed capacity is 1,236,92 MVA.
