Specialists of the Krasnodar branch of Rosseti Kuban conducted a lesson in electrical safety and energy efficiency for more than 20 young pupils of the Krasnodar Development Center.
Experts told the guys how to behave correctly near energy facilities, what rules of electric safe behavior need to be observed in everyday life and why it is necessary to save electricity. The interactive lesson and methodological material was presented in a form adapted for children.
At the end of the class, the children shared their knowledge with each other, demonstrated the ability to leave the danger zone in a goose step, and also told what needed to be done when seeing a broken wire and a person who was injured by electricity.
In order to promote a careful attitude to resources, specialists include information about a reasonable attitude to consumed resources in the electrical safety lesson program.
Power engineers draw the attention of adults to the need to regularly remind children of the rules for handling electricity on the street and in everyday life. Only the joint activities of power engineers, teachers and parents can have the expected effect and help to form skills and culture of electrical safety behavior in children and adolescents.
– We, teachers, are grateful to power engineers for attention to this important topic. Children got the possibility of practical communication with specialists. I am sure that by joint efforts we strengthened the knowledge of the guys about how carefully we treat natural resources and protect yourself and your loved ones from electrical injuries, – Nina Kravchenko, a teacher at the Leaderland Development Center, noted.
Thematic meetings are held for prevention of electrical injuries among third parties, career guidance of children and teenagers, as well as within the Energy Saving Festival #BrighterTogether.
