The Rosseti Group increased by 22% – up to 8 billion rubles – funding for the maintenance and repair program (M&R) in the Southern Federal District in 2023. In physical terms, the volume of work has also increased. Information on the implementation of the repair campaign of the Rosseti Group was presented at the Government Commission for Ensuring the Safety of Electricity Supply (Federal Headquarters) on the preparation of electric power industry entities and housing and communal services facilities of the Southern Federal District for work in the heating season 2023-2024, which was conducted by the Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Nikolai Shulginov in Rostov-on-Don.

The program of the Rosseti Group in the Southern Federal District includes the repair of more than 2 thousand km of 35 kV and above overhead power lines and almost 6.5 thousand units of substation equipment, clearing of 6.8 thousand hectares of OHPL routes. The work is ahead of schedule, 76% of the annual action plan has already been completed. The readiness of 1.2 thousand crews and 545 backup power supplies (in total – about 59 MW) in case of emergency recovery work was ensured.

In addition, the planned amount of financing for the company's investment program in the Southern Federal District in 2023 is 32.3 billion rubles. These include projects that directly affect the reliability of electricity supply: the reconstruction of the 220 kV Bryukhovetskaya main substation in the central part of the Kuban, the modernization of distribution network facilities supplying Rostov-on-Don and Sochi. In total, 773 MVA of transformer power and more than 1.1 thousand km of power lines of different voltage classes will be introduced.

A branch of Rosseti PJSC operates on the territory of eight regions of the Southern Federal District – MES of the South, Rosseti South, Rosseti Kuban and Rosseti Mobile GTES. 59.9 thousand substations and transformer substations with a total capacity of 79.9 thousand MVA, as well as 274 thousand km of power lines are under management.
