Specialists of the Adygei branch of Rosseti Kuban carried out major repairs of sites of two 110 kV overhead power lines (OHPL) Central - Cheremushki and Cheremushki - Hadzhokh. Energy facilities provide electricity to the city of Maykop and the Maykop district of the Republic of Adygea with a total population of about 200 thousand people.

On overhead power lines, power engineers replaced about 600 obsolete insulators with modern ones from hardened glass, which have high technical characteristics - mechanical strength, resistance to temperature differences and environmental influences. Reliability and safety of power lines operation largely depends on the quality of insulation.

As part of the annual maintenance and repair program of the energy company, major repairs are also planned with the replacement of insulators and overhead protection cable on the overhead power lines of 110 kV Erik-Tverskaya, Kurinskaya-Krivenkovskaya in the Absheron district, Central - Belorechenskaya, Central - Khimzavod-1, Central - Khimzavod-2 in the Belorechensky district of the Krasnodar Territory.   

During 2023, power engineers intend to overhaul about a thousand kilometers of OHPL of different voltage levels with the replacement of insulators, wires, traverses and supports, as well as clear 260 hectares of the OHPL protection zones from wood and bush vegetation.

The Adygea branch of Rosseti Kuban provides electricity to eight municipalities: Maykop, Giaginsky, Shovgenovsky, Koshekhablsky, Krasnogvardeisky districts and the city of Maykop of the Republic of Adygea, as well as the Belorechensky and Absheron districts of the Krasnodar Territory. In the area of ​ ​ responsibility of the branch - power lines with a total length of more than 9,000 km.
