Specialists of the Armavir branch of Rosseti Kuban for the period from January to June 2023, repaired over 170 km of overhead power lines (OHPL) of various voltage classes and six large centers of power supply in east part of Krasnodar Territory.
In the power distribution networks, power engineers replaced about 390 defective supports, on overhead power lines, replaced 18 km of ordinary wire with self-supporting insulated wire (SIW). To improve the quality of power supply, specialists installed more than 450 branches in buildings and residential houses with a length of 9.2 km using SIW, which is characterized by increased strength and wear resistance.
Particular attention was paid to clearing the OHPL routes from wood-bush vegetation. In five months, more than eight hectares were cleared of woody-shrubby growth. High-quality and timely cleaning of the OHPL protection zone from vegetation allows preventing possible damage to wires by sprawling crowns and branches of trees, especially in bad weather and strong winds.
Equipment repair was carried out at main substations with a voltage class of 35-110 kV. 93 separators, short-circuit switches and disconnectors, 119 switches were repaired at substations. In addition, 24 10-0.4 kV transformer substations were repaired in the Gulkevichi, Kavkazsky, Novokubansky, Otradnensky and Uspensky districts of the Krasnodar Territory. The work will increase the reliability of power supply to consumers in five districts of the Kuban and socially significant facilities.
– The repair program is aimed at preparing for increased loads on the energy infrastructure in the autumn-winter period. Most of the work is carried out using own resources of the branch with greater efficiency. The measures will increase the reliability and quality of electricity supply to several thousand residents in the east of the region, a number of large industrial, agricultural and public utility companies, socially significant facilities, - emphasizes Alexander Popov, First Deputy Director - Chief Engineer of Armavir Electric Networks.
