Specialists of Southwest branch of Rosseti Kuban started large-scale repair of two 10 kV overhead power lines (OHPL) nearly 40 km long in the suburb of Anapa. The repair of power lines will improve the quality and reliability of electricity supply to more than 10 thousand consumers of the villages of Vinogradny, Buzhor, Kapustin, Nizhnyaya Gostayka, Krasnaya Skala and Krasny Kurgan, as well as the villages of Supseh and Gai-Kodzor.

Over the past few years, there has been an active increase in the number of residents in the settlements of the Anapa suburb, which leads to an increase in the load on energy facilities. In this regard, Rosseti Kuban will repair two 10 kV high-voltage lines during July 2023.

Power engineers will replace the non-insulated wire with a self-supporting insulated wire of larger cross section (SIW). The SIW has high wear resistance and provides reliability of power supply under adverse weather conditions and high wind loads, which is important due to the natural and climatic conditions of the Anapa energy region. Also, about 1.6 thousand insulators and 340 transmission towers will be replaced at power lines.

Rosseti Kuban performs the necessary set of technical measures aimed at providing high-quality power supply to consumers in conditions of constant connection of new subscribers and corresponding growth of loads.
