Specialists of the Armavir branch of Rosseti Kuban have completed major repairs of two 35 kV high-voltage power lines (OHPL) Zelenchukskaya-Sokolovskaya and Dmitriyevskaya-Ilyinskaya with a total length more than 13 km. This will increase the reliability of electricity supply to more than ten thousand residents, enterprises, as well as socially significant facilities: hospitals, schools, kindergartens and other institutions of the Gulkevichi and Kavkazsky districts of the Krasnodar Territory.

In order to ensure the smooth functioning of power lines, the power engineers repaired the above-ground part of the foundations of 14 transmission towers, replaced about 250 insulators that worked out the resource, cleared the overhead line routing from vegetation in the amount of 1.2 hectares and other technical measures. The performed operations will protect power lines from climatic loads and ensure reliable operation of electrical networks, and clearing routes will prevent technological disturbances due to the fall of branches and trees on wires during bad weather.

- We continue to work intensively on the implementation of the repair program to maintain and improve the technical condition of 35-110 kV networks. This year we have already overhauled such large linear facilities as Kropotkin - Kavkazskaya Tyagovaya in the Kavkazsky district, Peschanaya - Skobelevskaya and Skobelevskaya - Nikolenskaya in the Gulkevichi district, - said Rustam Magdeev, acting director of the Armavir branch of Rosseti Kuban.

In total, as part of the repair campaign of 2023, Armavir power engineers will repair more than 85 km of 35-110 kV high-voltage overhead lines and 619 km of 6-10 kV distribution network lines, clear 138 hectares of OHPL routes of all voltage levels from wood-bush growth threatening wires.
