Specialists of the Ust-Labinsk branch of Rosseti Kuban continue to repair the 110 kV Novolabinskaya-Korenovskaya-Tyagovaya high-voltage overhead power transmission line (OPTL) with a length of about 40 km. This will improve the reliability of power supply to the Korenovsky and Ust-Labinsky districts of the Krasnodar Territory.

110 kV Novolabinskaya - Korenovskaya-Tyagovaya transmission line was put into operation in the late 70s of the last century. This main provides electricity to about 60 thousand consumers of the Korenovsky and Ust-Labinsky districts of the Krasnodar Territory and 110 various socially significant facilities such as hospitals, rural medical posts and outpatient clinics, schools and kindergartens.

Power engineers installed new mast supports on power lines, and about 700 obsolete porcelain insulators are planned to be replaced with modern ones made of tempered glass. The new insulators are distinguished by increased mechanical strength and are resistant to temperature extremes and environmental influences; they do not require periodic testing during operation. Among other things, damage to glass insulators can be easily detected visually, no special diagnostics are required, so power lines can be timely repaired.

With a major overhaul of the line, the life of existing power facilities will increase, the likelihood of technological disruptions will be reduced, and high reliability of power supply to consumers during peak loads will be ensured, including on the eve of the summer season, said Vadim Makushin, director of the Ust-Labinsk electrical networks.
