In 2022, Ust-Labinsk branch of Rosseti Kuban has consolidated 56 unpossessed power facilities in Vyselkovsky, Korenovsky, Tbilissky and Ust-Labinsky districts of the Krasnodar Territory. Among the assets accepted on the account there are 48 transformer substations and eight 10-0.4 kV power transmission lines with a total length of 6 km.

Unpossessed grids are electric grid facilities that do not have any possessor, or which possessor is unknown, or has waived ownership. As evidenced in practice, unpossessed grids operate in overload mode, and there is no one to repair and maintain them. That is why they are a source of accidents - one of the main reasons for electricity supply quality impairment and serious loss of electricity.

"When realizing complexity of the issue of unpossessed grids and taking into account thereto related negative consequences for residents, we are used to accept worn-out grids, which require significant additional investments, on our account. When cooperating with authorities, we search for solutions and carry out work, unplanned by production programs, in order to put an electric grid facility in a standard condition," Vadim Makushin, a director of Ust-Labinsk electric grids, said.

Consolidation of unpossessed electric grid assets is realized in accordance with the current legislation (Articles 225, 226 and 234 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, Federal Law No. 35-FZ dtd. 26.03.2003 "On Electric Power Industry").

Organizations and individuals, unable to ensure proper operation and repair of their owned electric power equipment, can contact the power company to conclude a maintenance contract.

Rosseti Kuban reminds that electric grid installations are objects of increased danger. Their operation should be carried out in strict accordance with technical rules, violation of which can lead to negative consequences for both individuals and owners of power facilities.
