The advanced training program ‘Technological connection of microgeneration facilities’ has been launched in Krasnodar on the basis of the corporate Energy Institution of Advanced Training. Among the course participants, there are twenty-seven specialists and managers of the technological connection sector of ‘Rosseti Kuban’.

The purpose of the program is to develop and deepen basic knowledge, fully master legislative, regulatory and methodological documents in the field of activities on technological connection of microgeneration facilities based on renewable energy sources and preparation of technical specifications under the principles of microgeneration facility operation.

Within the framework of the program, the students got acquainted with the main technical characteristics of renewable energy microgeneration facilities, thoroughly examined the legislative basis and practical experience in implementing renewable energy microgeneration projects.

‘Microgeneration based on renewable energy sources is an absolutely new area of activity for electric power grid companies. Nowadays, technological connection of microgeneration units to distribution facilities becomes more organized and transparent. For this purpose, a lot of work has been performed, and one of its components is organization of advanced training courses for specialists in „Rosseti Kuban“ technological connection sector,’ Dmitry Burykin, the head of educational projects of the NP on development of renewable energy ‘EUROSOLAR Russia’ said.
