‘Rosseti Kuban’ specialists have conducted an issue-related educational program within the framework of the All-Russian engineering session ‘School of a Young Power Engineer’ in the All-Russian children’s center ‘Smena’.

Kuban power engineers have prepared a lecture course ‘Energy of the new time’ for 60 boys and girls from 27 regions of Russia. During lectures, the students gained knowledge about innovations and equipment placed at power facilities, got acquainted with the project ‘Digital Electrician’ and the movement of student power detachments.

The young students solidified their knowledge in practice during the intellectual game ‘Energozaryad’ and the workshop session ‘Safe Power Industry’.

Employees of the South-Western power grids reminded the children of the rules of electrical safety at home and in the street, demonstrated personal protective equipment and gave everyone possibility to try on special clothes. The participants of the session have mastered first aid methods with the help of the simulator ‘Gosha’.

The All-Russian engineering session ‘School of a Young Power Engineer’ is aimed at career guidance of young people in the power industry. The organizers of the project are the National Research University ‘MPEI’ and the All-Russian children’s center ‘Smena’. The educational program is supported by the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
