Specialists of the Adygei branch of Rosseti Kuban started overhaul of sections of overhead power transmission lines (TL) 110 kV Tverskaya - Kurinskaya and Central - Tverskaya. The power supply of 100 thousand residents of the Apsheronsky district of the Krasnodar Territory, as well as traction substations of the Tuapse branch of the Russian Railways depend on the reliable operation of these transmission lines.

Power engineers are planning to replace 7.7 km of ground wire on the overhead transmission line Central - Tverskaya. It is designed to protect power lines from lightning strikes, which can cause technological disturbances during the passage of a thunderstorm front.

Specialists will install over 1,700 new tempered glass insulators on the Tverskaya-Kurinskaya overhead transmission line. Such insulators have high operational and technical characteristics - increased mechanical strength, resistance to temperature extremes and environmental influences. The reliability and safety of the operation of a power facility largely depends on the quality of insulating materials.

– Overhaul and maintenance of high-voltage transmission lines is carried out as part of the company's repair program for the current year. More than 70% of all planned activities have already been implemented in the Adygei branch of Rosseti Kuban. Work on the preparation of power equipment for the autumn-winter period will be continued until they are fully completed within the time limits established by the technological schedules, – says Anton Lupandin, chief engineer of the Adygei electrical networks, said.
