Krasnodar hosted a solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the Open Corporate Championship of Professional Excellence of the Rosseti Group - Young Professionals according to the WorldSkills methodology.

During the week, participants of nine teams from different regions of Russia fought for the right to be called the best in the competencies "Operation of cable transmission lines" and "Intelligent electricity metering systems". More than 30 experts conducted a professional assessment of the competitive tasks. The championship was held at the site of the corporate energy institute of the Rosseti Kuban company.

Viktor Ushkalov, a representative of Rosseti Volga, was recognized as the strongest specialist in the "Operation of cable transmission lines" competency. The silver medal of the championship was shared by Nikolay Shust, a representative of Rosseti Center and Vyacheslav Evdokimov, a representative of Rosseti North-West.

The best results in the "Intelligent Electricity Metering Systems" competency were shown by the teams of Rosseti Tomsk represented by Ivan Soikin and Sergey Tekhrib, and Rosseti Volga represented by Timur Bikmukhametov and Dmitry Barabanov. Artur Orman and Ivan Rusanov, representatives of Rosseti North-West, won the bronze of the championship in this category.

The winners of the additional competitive stage "Analytics of Unmetered Consumption" were the Rosseti Siberia team. The second place was taken by the team of Rosseti Tomsk, the bronze went to the representatives of Rosseti North-West.

During the closing ceremony the winners and prize-winners of the championship were congratulated by Edgar Armaganyan, the First Deputy Director General - Manager of the branch of Rosseti Kuban Sochi Electric Grids. He noted the strong and honest professional struggle on the competitive grounds of all participants in the championship.

Arkady Zamoskovny, the President of the Association of Energy Employers “ERA of Russia”, Nikolay Nadin, Deputy Head of Administration of the Karasunsky District of Krasnodar, Oleg Nishchuk, Deputy Director General for the services delivery of Rosseti Kuban, Marina Cherkashina, Chairman of the Krasnodar regional public organization "All-Russian Electric Trade Union" and Tatiana Ryabichenko, Deputy Head of the Department for Interaction with Employers of the Employment Center of the City of Krasnodar took part in the closing ceremony.

During the championship, the exchange of experience was also held as part of the business program. Representatives of the educational community, students of universities and colleges, domestic manufacturers of electrical equipment became participants in round tables, a hackathon in the areas of intelligent electrical energy metering systems and meetings. They discussed issues of personnel training for energy industry enterprises.

As a reminder, the winners of corporate competitions will take part in the National Championship of cross-cutting professions in high-tech industries according to the WorldSkills (WorldSkills Hi-Tech) methodology.
