Specialists of the Labinsk branch of Rosseti Kuban have completed the main part of the repair program, which is aimed at ensuring the reliability of power supply to consumers in the autumn-winter period. Power engineers repaired 107 distribution network facilities in the settlements of Labinsk, Kurganinsky and Mostovsky districts of the Krasnodar Territory.
70 complete transformer substations have been prepared for peak loads. They replaced circuit breakers, arresters, disconnectors and other equipment, as well as updated dispatcher names and warning signs.
In addition, power engineers completed the scheduled repair of 37 overhead power transmission lines (PTL) of the distribution network with a total length of over 360 km. During the work, specialists replaced 464 pillars, more than 1.3 thousand insulators and 50 km of bare wire.
To ensure the electrical safety of consumers, power engineers replaced 943 branches to private households using self-supporting insulated wire. Such a wire guarantees reliable transmission of electricity in any weather and provides maximum protection against electrical shock.
To reduce the number of technological disruptions due to falling branches on wires during bad weather, power engineers cleared 55 hectares of power lines from trees and shrubs. In a remote mountainous area, these works were carried out manually using chainsaws.
The program of maintenance and repairs is the basis for the uninterrupted operation of electric power facilities located in the area of operational responsibility of the Labinsk Electric Grids Branch.
