Specialists of Rosseti Kuban completed the construction of a 10 kV power transmission line (PTL) in the suburbs of Novorossiysk. The new PTL with a length of more than 15 km is designed to provide high-quality and reliable power supply to the residents of the village of Natukhaevskaya.

Due to active development and population growth in the stanitsa of Natukhaevskaya, operating facilities of the distribution network experienced increased loads. There was an increased demand for technical connection. From 2019 to 2021 almost 4.3 thousand new applications were received from land owners for a total capacity of more than 66 MW.

In addition, facts of exceeding the permitted power are recorded in the settlement, especially during peak loads. This was the main reason for overloading power facilities and reducing the quality of power supply for conscientious consumers who did not exceed the permitted capacity.

In response to requests from the residents of the stanitsa, specialists from Rosseti Kuban laid more than 40 km of self-supporting insulated wire with increased bandwidth, installed 778 supports. Modern wires have high wear resistance and ensures the reliability of power supply under adverse weather conditions and wind loads, which is especially important for the natural and climatic conditions of the Novorossiysk energy district.

Power engineers also cleared 3.3 hectares of routes in the protected zones of power lines to minimize the risk of technological disturbances in electrical grids due to falling branches and trees on wires.
