Specialists of the Armavir branch of Rosseti Kuban are overhauling two 35 kV overhead power transmission lines (PTL) with a length of 26 km in the Gulkevichsky and Otradnensky districts of the Krasnodar Territory. The stable operation of power facilities is a guarantee of the reliability of power supply to over 16 thousand residents, as well as educational and medical institutions, utility and telecommunications infrastructure facilities.

On high-voltage lines, specialists will replace 590 insulators and update over 100 sets of chain fittings, which prevent damage to wires during high wind loads. In the course of the work, the power engineers will straighten and repair power transmission poles, repair the foundations of metal poles and clear 1.2 hectares of protected areas along overhead lines from trees threatening wires.

The Besstrashnaya-Spokoynaya overhead power line feeds substations that provide energy to more than seven thousand residents and a many social facilities in the Otradnensky district, including housing and communal services, schools, kindergartens, a hospital and government agencies.

The overhead line Gulkevichi - Ventsy transmits electricity to the Ventsy substation, which supplies electricity to construction industry enterprises, medical institutions, water intake facilities, as well as more than nine thousand residents of the rural settlement of Ventsy-Zarya, the village of Maykopskoye, Lebyazhy and Cheredinovsky farms.

In 2022, employees of the Armavir Electric Grids have already repaired 19 high-voltage power lines with a total repair length of over 163 km. The activities are carried out in accordance with the repair program and are necessary to prepare power equipment for operation in the coming autumn-winter period.
