7.3 million rubles were allocated for the overhaul of power transmission lines in the Tikhoretsk energy district. Specialists of the Tikhoretsky branch of Rosseti Kuban have already carried out a major overhaul of 11 high-voltage power transmission lines (PTL) in the Tikhoretsky, Pavlovsky, Novopokrovsky, Beloglinsky and Krylovsky districts of the Krasnodar Territory.

 During the repair, power engineers of the Tikhoretsky electrical networks replaced more than 3.4 thousand glass insulators, 918 poles, and also cleared over 61 hectares of power lines from trees and shrubs and installed more than 80 bird protection devices.

New insulators have high operational and technical characteristics - increased mechanical strength, resistance to temperature extremes and environmental influences. Therefore, the installation of the BPDs will protect birds from electric shock and ensure the protection of power facilities from the waste products of birds reducing the risk of emergency situations.

The service area of the Tikhoretsk electrical networks includes Novopokrovsky, Beloglinsky, Tikhoretsky, Pavlovsky and Krylovsky districts of the Krasnodar Territory. The total service area of the branch is 8,500 sq. km. The total population of the Tikhoretsk energy district is 250 thousand people.
