Rosseti Group to invest more than 8,8 billion rubles in development of electrical networks of Kuban in 2022

Heads of Rosseti Kuban and Rosseti FGC UES – Magistral Electrical Networks of the South presented the provisional results of work in Krasnodar region to the General Director of PJSC Rosseti Andrey Ryumin. The primary objectives in the region were considered at the meeting. The operational situation in the service territories of companies was also discussed.

“Krasnodar Region is one of the most populated and industrially developed regions of our country. Along with tourism, housing construction and infrastructure are actively developing here. All of this requires reliable and high-quality power supply. In 2022, we plan to complete major projects in Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Taman. We will also continue working on the modernization of the electric grid of Big Sochi”, Andrei Ryumin said.

According to Boris Ebzeev, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Rosseti Kuban, a total of 493 MVA of new transformer capacity and 509 km of power lines will be put into operation in the company's area of ? ? responsibility in 2022. The reconstruction of one of the key power facilities of Krasnodar - 110 kV substation Pochtovaya will be completed. The supply center capacity will be increased from 20 to 80 MVA.

An important investment project is the construction of a 110 kV substation Yuzhnaya Ozereevka with a capacity of 20 MVA near Novorossiysk. It will provide power supply to industrial facilities, as well as relieve existing main substations, which are responsible for power supply not only to consumers in the nearest populated areas, but also resort facilities of the Black Sea coast.

The largest project in the main network group is associated with the implementation of the scheme of power distribution of the Combined Cycle Gas Turbine, which is being built to solve the problem of energy shortages in the Krasnodar Region and provide electricity to consumers of the port area of Taman

The plan of measures for improving the reliability of work of the electric grid infrastructure in the face of an increase in the number of hazardous weather conditions and decisions aimed at the reduction of losses and intellectual energy accounting system development were also discussed at the meeting. So far, it has been specified that the level of automation of accounting in the area of ?responsibility of Rosseti Kuban is about 29 percent (348,500 points). In 2022, it is planned to install 49.5 thousand new meters.
