Rosseti Kuban team became a winner within the competence “Intellectual energy accounting system” at the 8th National Championship for cross-industry working professions in high-tech industries (WorldSkills Hi-Tech), which was held in Yekaterinburg.

The team included employees of executive branch of Rosseti Kuban represented by Igor Erokhin, Rustam Skhaplok and Aleksey Kondratenko (a team leader). Maxim Gurekov took part in the championship as an expert-compatriot.

In total, specialists of Rosseti group won in three nominations in the 8th National Championship in high-tech industries. The best results of professional competence “Maintenance and repair of relay protection equipment and automation” was shown by Andrey Povarennykh, representing Rosseti Ural, and Maksim Filippov, representing Rosseti Volga, won within the competence “Maintenance of cable lines”.

Championship for cross-industry working professions in high-tech industries was held in Yekaterinburg with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation became the largest professional competitions of vocational skills among the specialists of domestic enterprises.

This year, more than 500 competitors gathered on the site to demonstrate their knowledge in 39 competencies. More than 20 energy workers, representing Rosseti, competed at the championship who became winners of the corporate championships of vocational skills according to the WorldSkills occupational standards.

The development of a number of competencies of the competition was initiated by the Rosseti Group in order to improve the personnel training for the integrated power grid of the Russian Federation.

Rosseti conducts open corporate championships of vocational skills according to the WorldSkills occupational standards every year, thereby supporting the popularization and improvement of the prestige of cross-industry working professions among the youth of the country. Rosseti group became a participant of WorldSkills in the official status of an associated partner of the Union “Agency for development of the professional associations and working personnel of WorldSkills Russia” in 2016.
