Rosseti Kuban and Joint Stock Company Radio and Microelectronics concluded cooperation agreement

Rosseti Kuban and research and development enterprise Joint Stock Company Radio and Microelectronics (RiM) concluded strategic cooperation agreement as a part of the Russian Energy Week International Forum 2021. Cooperation provides for introduction of a new Russian high-tech equipment at the electric grid facilities to the experimental and industrial operation.

The Acting CEO of Rosseti Kuban Boris Ebzeev and the Chief Constructor of RiM Aleksandr Kabakov signed the agreement. The parties intend to cooperate in solving the problems of introducing innovative Russian technologies, including the development of distribution networks with a voltage class of 6-10 kV. New developments are aimed primarily at reducing the cost of operating networks and improving the reliability of energy supply to consumers.

“Rosseti Kuban pays great attention to improving the reliability of electricity supply to consumers of Krasnodar Region and the Republic of Adygea. Our agreement provides for a wide range of areas, including the pilot operation of innovative solutions of our partners at integrated power grid facilities of the Kuban region”, Boris Ebzeev noted.

“This agreement is not only a format of cooperation in the field of innovative development, but also an opportunity to share experiences and transfer positive effects and economic benefits of introducing high-technology decisions in electric-power industry”, Aleksandr Kabakov commented.

The Holding research and production association Radio and Microelectronics, which includes 16 small and medium enterprises, carries out development, production and introduction of modern radio-electronic devices and systems, as well as software, installation, commissioning and maintenance during operation. There are several laboratories created on the basis of the departments of Novosibirsk State Technical University and a design center for the development of very large-scale integrated circuits in the holding structure.
