The Medal of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation for excellence in liquidation of consequences of emergency situations of fuel & energy complex was awarded to the First Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Director of Sochi Electrical Networks branch office of Rosseti Kuban Edgar Armaganyan. The Chief Executive Officer of Rosseti Kuban Boris Ebzeev presented the honorary award to Edgar Armaganyan in Krasnodar.

The High-Level Departmental Award for the significant personal contribution to restoration of the electric power supply to consumers of Sochi energy area of Krasnodar Region in an emergency situation from July 5 to July 8 of 2021, was awarded to Edgar Armaganyan.

Let us remember that the energy complex of Sochi and Tuapsinskiy district was tested for durability because of the weather patterns: steady torrential rains fell across the coast in July this year. Elimination of consequences of thunderstorms and floods took place in Sochi energy area 24 hours a day under the control of Edgar Armaganyan. In total, 250 people as a part of 75 brigades, more than 100 pieces of equipment were involved in repair works at the power facilities. Energy workers continuously conducted restoration works under incessant rains, giving light to residents of coastal areas and faraway mountain villages.
