The Acting CEO of Rosseti Kuban Boris Ebzeev took part at the meeting regarding the preparation for autumn and winter period of 2020/2021 which was held under the supervision of the Governor of Krasnodar region Veniamin Kondratev involving the managers of the utility providers of the region.
The Acting CEO of Rosseti Kuban Boris Ebzeev reported to the Governor of the region on implementation of more than 90 percent of planned remedial works in preparation for power grid infrastructure of Krasnodar region for autumn and winter period. “All activities of the annual repair program are carried out ahead of schedule. The major part of works on repair of power facilities have been carried out by specialists of Rosseti Kuban prior to the start of the resort season, because an accident-free passing of winter and summer seasons of peak loads is equally important to our company. It is planned to complete the major works on repair of power facilities through the networks with a voltage of 35 kV and above in its entirety before October 1, 2021. The Company has the necessary forces, means and a qualified staff”, Boris Ebzeev noted.
Since the beginning of the year, as part of preparation for heating season, more than 9,000 km of transmission lines of different voltages, more than 1,6 thousand transformer substations and more than 400 power transformers were repaired at the supply centers in the area of responsibility of Rosseti Kuban. Employees of energy company cleared more than 1,4 thousand hectares of cuttings. Emergency stock is 100 percent completed.
Almost 1,800 members of technical staff and 715 pieces of equipment as a part of 392 brigades, including 22 mobile brigades of Rosseti Kuban are in operational readiness. Energy workers manage 109 reserve sources of power supply with a total capacity of 12,6 MW. Emergency Response Drills were carried out to ensure the readiness for possible technological failures in adverse weather conditions.
Rosseti Kuban preparation for autumn and winter period of 2020/2021 is carried out in accordance with the relevant Regulations of the Company based on the Rules of assessing the readiness of electric power industry entities for work in the heating season in accordance with the procedure established by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 543 of May 10, 2017.
