Rosseti Kuban summed up the results of the closing ceremony of the championship of vocational skills “Young Professionals” according to the WorldSkills occupational standards

On the basis of the Power Engineering Institute of Advanced Training of Rosseti Kuban, ten teams from all parts of the Russian Federation were competing for the title of the most competent specialists within two competences for a week in Krasnodar. More than 30 experts evaluated the skills of energy workers.

Rosseti Ural representative Yakov Dyukov was acknowledged as the best within the competence “Maintenance of cable lines”. Rosseti North Caucaus representative Alik Galtsev became a silver medalist. Rosseti Lenenergo representative Roman Mikhailov became a bronze medalist of the corporate championship.

The “Electric Grid Company” team of Timur Belov and Ilsur Muksinov from Tatarstan showed the best results within the competence “Intellectual energy accounting system”. Rosseti Moscow Region energy workers Anton Shevchuk and Mikhail Elagin became silver medalists. Rosseti Ural energy workers Vladimir Belozertsev and Timur Mukhametshin became bronze medalists.

First Deputy Chief Executive Officer – Director of the Sochi Electrical Networks Branch of Rosseti Kuban Edgar Armaganyan congratulated the winners and medalists of the Championship during the closing ceremony.

“The championship has become not only a competitive platform, but also a social center, experience exchange, strengthening professional and friendly relations between energy workers of Rosseti group of companies. All teams presented their companies with dignity, worked professionally and consistently at the competitive stages, demonstrated skills and commitment to win”, Edgar Armaganyan noted.

 

The President of Association of Employers of Electrical Power Industry “ERA of Russia” Arkadiy Zamoskovnyj, Deputy Minister of Fuel and Energy Complex and Housing and Public Utilities of Krasnodar region Galina Vitkovskaya, Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Implementation of Services of Rosseti Kuban Oleg Nishchuk, Deputy Chief Engineer for Business Processes of Rosseti Kuban Sergey Shevchenko and so on took part at the closing ceremony.

The exchange of experience took place as part of Business program at the Championship. Representatives of the educational community and domestic manufacturers of electrically-powered equipment became participants of the round tables and meetings. They discussed issues regarding the personnel training for the energy industry enterprises and digitalization of processes in the educational sphere.

Let us remember that the winners of corporate championships will present their competences at the 8th National Championship for cross-industry working professions in high-tech industries (WorldSkills Hi-Tech), which will be held in Yekaterinburg from October 25 to October 29, 2021. 

Energy workers of Rosseti group of companies take active measures to develop employee production capacity in the domestic electric power industry. The company conducts open corporate championships of vocational skills according to the WorldSkills occupational standards on a regular basis, thereby supporting the popularization and improvement of the prestige of cross-industry working professions among the youth of the country. It should be emphasized that Rosseti became a participant of WorldSkills in the official status of an associated partner of the Union “Agency for development of the professional associations and working personnel of WorldSkills Russia” in 2016.
