Specialists of Krasnodar branch of Rosseti Kuban have prepared about 600 km of transmission lines and about 150 main substations of different voltages for autumn and winter period. As a result of technical measures, the reliability of power supply to more than 900 residents of Kuban and the Republic of Adygeya has been increased.

Planned technical measures were performed at the power facilities in Krasnodar and five adjacent areas of Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygeya. The main goal of the remedial work is to preserve performance characteristics of equipment. In the course of repair works, energy workers replaced outdated insulators, defective pylons, renovated dispatch names at the facilities, set up relay protection systems and automation, and carried out a test of the oil-filled equipment.

For the purpose of preventing the interruption of electric power supply in adverse weather conditions, 62 ha of protective zones of overhead transmission lines were cleared in the territory of Krasnodar energy area. The clearing of overhead line routes from trees and shrubs significantly reduces the risk of failure of power networks caused by falling of the trees and branches on wires under wind loads.

Let us remember that Rosseti Kuban plans to allocate more than 200 million rubles for repair and maintenance of electric grid facilities in Krasnodar energy area in 2021. Specialists are going to repair more than 700 kilometres of overhead transmission lines and change 120 km of overhead line conductors in the territory of Krasnodar, as well as Dinskoy, Severskiy and Goryacheklyuchevskiy districts of Kuban. Energy workers are going to prepare 35 large supply centers and more than 140 transformer substations for the season of peak loads.
