The project of Rosseti Kuban employee was among the winners at the All-Russian competition ‘New Idea-2020’

The development of the head of the accident prevention automation sector of Rosseti Kuban Vladimir Kizin in collaboration with a colleague from FGC UES Artem Bondarenko, was among the best innovative projects according to the results of the VII All-Russian competition ‘New Idea-2020’.

The project of Kizin and Bondarenko ‘Development and implementation of the software package ‘Accident prevention automation. Devices and instructions’ took the second place in the competition for the best research and technology development among youth of enterprises and organizations of the fuel and energy complex. The software package is a multifunctional tool for processing a large settings database of systemic accident prevention automation. With its help, the analysis of the operation of automation is reduced from several hours to one minute, and as a result, the time to restore power supply to consumers in case of an emergency is significantly accelerated. In addition, the development can be used as a training simulator for emergency training of the operating personnel of PJSC Rosseti.

The State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Anastasiya Bondarenko presented the award and diploma for the ‘Best Innovative Project’ in the section ‘Power Engineering, Thermal Power Engineering’ to the authors of the project during the ceremony in Moscow.

The VII All-Russian competition 'New Idea' for the best research and technology development among youth of enterprises and organizations of the fuel and energy complex was held in absentia in Moscow. The competition received over 400 works from 120 companies, of which 25 were parent companies, such as Rosseti Group, Rosneft Oil Company, Gazprom, Mosoblgaz, Gazprom Neft, RusHydro, Siberian generating company, Territorial Generation Company No.2, Mosenergo, etc.

The competition ‘New Idea’ is a tool for implementing policies in the field of human resources development and in building up the project and research competencies of the employees of the companies. It is held under the aegis of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the organizer of the competition over the past seven years has been the Institution of Advanced Training of Management and Professionals of Fuel & Energy Complex.
