As a part of maintenance programme, energy workers of the south-west branch of Rosseti Kuban increased power supply reliability of consumers in the suburbs of Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, as well as Abinskiy and Krymskiy districts of Krasnodar region. The company invested 45 million rubles in repair and maintenance of power facilities.

Energy workers of the South-West Electrical Networks carried out complex repairs of 16 high-voltage substations within six months. The power transformers, oil breakers, switchgear cubicles, voltage suppressors and other substation equipment were repaired at the supply centers.

Besides, specialists repaired 80 km of high-voltage transmission lines, replaced 3,4 thousand insulators and 17,5 km of overhead ground-wire. New hardening glass insulators have high strength, and they are resistant to changes in temperature and environmental effect. The overhead ground wire will provide an uninterruptible operation of overhead transmission lines during thunderstorms.

Energy workers also cleared more than 55 hectares of transmission line routes from trees and shrubs. This will reduce the probability of technological disturbances caused by falling of the trees and branches on wires in foul weather.

The service area of ?the South-West Electrical Networks includes Anapa, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk, as well as Abinskiy and Krymskiy districts of Krasnodar region. 77 substations with a voltage class of 35-110 kV, the largest of which are Novorossiysk, RIP, Anapskaya, Yuzhnaya, Kholmskaya, Dzhemete, Varenikovskaya, Gelendzhik and North-West are recorded on the balance sheet of the Company. The total population is more than 880 thousand people in the service area.
