Power Engineering Specialists of Rosseti Kuban are liquidating the consequences of flood on a 24-hour basis, which led to flooding of energy facilities in Tuapsinsky district on July 5^th.  

As of 11:00 a.m. Moscow time on July 7^th, socially significant facilities and consumers of Dzhubga, Tenginka and Lermontovo villages were powered up according to the basic power supply diagrams. The repair works are continuing in the territories of Defanovka, Moldovanovka and Gorskoe and Polkovnichiy villages. The situation is made difficult by the heavy blockages of access roads to the energy facilities. Operational clearance of roads is carried out with the assistance of the public utilities of the district. 

First of all, power engineering specialists restored power supply to critical infrastructures in populated areas. The power supply was restored to the water intakes and water-pumping station affected by flooding in Tengirka, Lermontovo and Dzhubga in the evening of July 6^th.

In total, 112 energy workers as a part of 41 brigades and 45 pieces of equipment, including truck-mounted diesel generators were involved to provide electrical energy to social facilities. The composition of operational brigades and service yard continues to be enhanced at the site of emergency liquidation. The situation on restoration of the basic power supply diagrams in the flood zone is controlled by members of the emergency response team of Rosseti Kuban.

Power engineering specialists is replacing overhead power lines which were damaged because of water level rising in mountain rivers and mudslides. Repair works will be carried out on a regular basis until the full restoration of power supply to citizens of affected villages.

Let us remember that the staff of Sochi branch of Rosseti Kuban was transferred to the special work schedule. Repair works are being carried out at the power facilities in the zones of elimination of weather patterns on a 24-hour basis. Power engineering specialists work in close cooperation with the administration of Krasnodar region, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and public utilities.
