These high-voltage lines provide electricity for more than 120 thousand domestic consumers, 200 socially significant facilities, large health centers, hotels located on the Black Sea coast of Krasnodar Region and receiving numerous tourists annually.

Power Engineering Specialists are going to install 131 sets of line accessories, change 2,360 outdated porcelain insulators to the modern glass ones in transmission lines. To protect the equipment from lightning overvoltage, the power engineering specialists will replace and install about 17km of overhead ground-wire, do the thermovision inspection of eleven high-voltage transmission lines with a total length of more than 150 km.

Besides, the specialists of the branch will clear 19 ha of line routes from trees and shrubs. These measures will help to prevent an interruption of electric power supply caused by falling of the trees and branches on wires in foul weather and under high wind loads.

Repair work will make it possible to prepare power equipment for the holiday season, which means that the electricity supply of residents and guests of the Black Sea coast in the coming summer will be reliable “, the director of the South-West branch Dmitriy Golovakha noted.
