In 2021, Rosseti Kuban plans to invest more than 3 billion rubles in repairs and maintenance of power facilities of integrated power grid of Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygeya. Power engineering specialists are going to repair almost 10,000 km of overhead transmission lines, about 1.8 thousand transformer substations and replace 67,000 insulators.

As a part of the annual programme of technical maintenance and repairs, the specialists will also replace more than six thousand support structures, clear almost 1.5 thousand hectares of cuttings of transmission line routes from trees and shrubs and replace and repair 67 km of overhead ground-wire. These measures will help to reduce the risks of violation of electric power supply to consumers in adverse weather conditions and improve the reliability of electric power facilities.

In 2021, taps of inputs to consumers’ house and grounds will be replaced on overhead lines with the use of the self-supporting insulated wire during the repair process of distribution networks. Such a wire has increased carrying capacity, high-wearing feature and maintains reliability of power supply under wind loads.

Schedules of remedial works are drawn up on the basis of the annual review of technical condition of facilities, operational features of equipment in autumn and winter periods of previous years taking into consideration the minimization of inconveniences to consumers.

The implementation of the planned scope of work for the main network with a voltage of 35-220 kV of Rosseti Kuban will be completed in September 2021.
