Over the past three years, the Slavyansk office branch of Rosseti Kuban has accepted in maintenance 51 unpossessed power facilities. Among the power facilities in the Krasnoarmeyskiy, Slavyanskiy and Temryuk districts of the Krasnodar Territory included in the asset list, there are 58 km of transmission lines and 10 transformer substations with a total capacity of 1.4 MVA.

Unpossessed networks are electric grid facilities which, for various reasons, do not have an owner, or energy facilities which are recorded on the balance sheet of the organizations and individuals that are unable to ensure their qualitative operation and maintenance. Such networks work, as a rule, in overload mode, and there is no one to repair and maintain them. Unpossessed networks are one of the main sources of accidents and one of the main reasons for the decrease in the quality of electricity supply and serious electrical energy losses.

“Consolidation of electricity supply and network assets in hands of financially stable and reliable owners allows to increase reliability and controllability of distribution networks, reduce costs of operation, and more clearly form infrastructure development plans”, Director of Slavyansk electricity supply networks Denis Osmov noted.

One of the main advantages of consolidation is the possibility of formation of common tariffs for electric power transmission and technological connection. This allows not only to create the necessary conditions for sustainable development of the energy complex as well as making the procedure of technological connection simple and transparent for consumers. As a result, the standard of living, as well as the rate of development of small and medium business, is significantly increasing.

Consolidation of unpossessed electricity supply and network assets is carried out in accordance with the applicable laws of the Russian Federation (Sections 225, 226 and 234 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation, Federal Law of March 26, 2003 No.35-FZ “On Electric Power Industry”).
