Sergey Sergeyev inspected facilities of the Main Media Centre in Sochi Olympic Park

During his working visit in Sochi, Sergey Sergeyev, Director General of Rosseti Kuban, has inspected power facilities of the Main Media Centre in Sochi Olympic Park – one the    spaces of Russia – Africa Summit in October this year; he also visited Krasnaya Polyana and Adler districts.

Sergey Sergeyev examined the external perimeter of the building of the Museum and Exhibition Centre, where the exhibition area will be located, checked readiness of dispatch offices of the situation and analytical centre and operation of Nizhneimeretinsky network section of Sochi branch, which provides operational and technical maintenance of the internal networks of the Main Media Centre, and also talked with the dispatch and operational personnel.

The Main Media Centre was built in 2014 and was the main information platform for the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games. The building with an area of ??about 160 thousand square meters and three floors has become one of the largest facilities of the Coastal cluster. Currently, the State Museum and Exhibition Centre is the largest congress and exhibition complex on the territory of the Krasnodar region, it also houses the Park of Science and Art of Sirius educational center. The total capacity of the Main Media Centre is 28.6 MW, the length of internal electric networks of 0.4 kV is 128 km. The Centre is powered from 110kV “Imeretinskaya” and 110kV “Vremennaya” substations of FGC UES.

While visiting Krasnaya Polyana and Adler districts, Edgar Armaganyan, First Deputy Director General and Director of Sochi Branch, reported Sergey Sergeyev on functioning of the grid facilities in holiday season and summer peak demand, and showed customer service centres.
