In the course of his working visit to Sochi, Andrei Maiorov, Deputy Director General – Chief Engineer of Rosseti, has conducted an unscheduled check-out at substation ‘Lazurnaya’ that was installed as the source of extra capacity for Russian Children Centre “Orlyonok”.

Andrei Maiorov checked the operation processes of the substation, and readiness of dispatch personnel to emergencies. The Chief Engineer of Rosseti noted high level of operation of power equipment, its good condition and proper exterior view of the power facility in general. No serious drawbacks were found.

110/10kV substation ‘Lazurnaya’ was installed in 2018 and has capacity of 20MVA. It became an important event for Tuapse district – commissioning of new capacity substantially increased quality and reliability of electricity supply in popular resort villages Novomikhailovskoye, Lermontovo, and Plyakho, as well as numerous therapeutic and recreational resorts.
