40 large substations in Tikhoretsk district are ready for winter

To ensure disruptions free autumn-winter season, the specialists from Tikhoretsk branch of Rosseti Kuban have repaired 40 high-voltage substations in Tikhoretsk, Pavlovsky, Novopokrovsky, Beloglinsky, and Krylovskoy districts of the Krasnodar region. This power upgrade project cost 8 million rubles.

Power engineers carried out major repairs at seven high-voltage substations: “Myasokombinat” and “Parkovaya” in Tikhoretsk and Tikhoretsky district, substations “Khladoboynya” and “Sosyka” in Pavlovsky district, “Pervomaiskaya” and “Ilyinskaya” in Novopokrovsky district, “Novosergievskaya” in Krylovsky district.

In addition to overhauls, over 500 units of substation equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors and other devices, were repaired and maintained, and transformer oil was refined and changed.

At the same time, specialists from the Tikhoretsk branch carried out preventive recovery of relay protection and automation devices, and also, using a mobile laboratory, performed technical diagnostics and testing of substation equipment before and after repair.

 “At the moment, our plan on repair of substation equipment is 89 percent complete. In total, 45 substations will be repaired as part of this year's repair programme. Our task is to prepare power facilities for the upcoming autumn-winter period and ensure reliable power supply to houses and agriculture businesses of rural settlements of the Kuban,” said Valery Gondar, Director of the Tikhoretsk branch of Rosseti Kuban, “we do our best, apply all the knowledge and experience to complete this project as efficiently and quickly as possible.”
