Specialists from the Armavir  branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) have overhauled three large substations in Armavir, Uspensky and Otradnensky districts of the Krasnodar region. Repair of high-voltage substation in Novokubansky district is at its final stage. In total, the company will invest over 3.6 million rubles in repair four substations.

Repair is completed at 35kV “Wastewater Treatment Plant” substation in Armavir, “Trekhselskaya” in Uspensky district, and “Otradnaya” in Otradnensky district of Kuban. Repairs at essential power facility in Novokubansky district,110 kV “Zabaykalovskaya” substation, are almost done.

As part of implementation of the repair campaign and preparation of power facilities for the summer peak demand, Kubanenergo specialists overhauled power transformers, oil switches, disconnectors, and replaced nonlinear resistance arresters with more modern surge suppressors.

These substations keep lights on for thousands of homes, housing and utilities infrastructure facilities, public facilities, including hospitals, schools in the eastern district of Kuban.

At substations “Zabaikalovskaya”, “Sovetskaya”, “Gulkevichi”, and “Vostok”, our power engineers repaired on-load tap changers (OLTC) at 110kV transformers with replacement drives. On-load tap-changers are important components of transformers and ensure their safe and secure operation.

Andrei Babtsov, Chief Engineer of Armavir electrical networks, said: “This year we have increased the amount of financing of the repair programme three times: more than 180 million rubles will be allocated for repair of power equipment. This will improve the reliability of our power system and ensure its stable operation during the period of peak demand.”

In total, in 2019, the engineers form Armavir electrical networks will repair ten large substations, 323 transformer substations and over 1550 km of power lines.
