In 2019 engineers from Labinsk branch of Kubanenergo PJSC  (Rosseti Group) will repair eight overhead power lines in Labinsk, Kurganinsk, and Mostovskoy districts of Krasnodar region. The total length of power lines scheduled for repair is 81 km.

The branch plans to prepare to autumn-winter season a number of lines of 110kV, namely “Kurgannaya Tyagovaya – Andreedmitrievskaya, “Armavir – Andreedmitrievskaya”, “Promzona – Kurgan Tyagovaya”, and “Shovgenovskaya – Armavir”, as well as 35 kV lines: “Mok – Mikhailovskaya”, “Mikhailovskaya – Poliv”, “Andreedmitrievskaya – Komsomolskaya”, and “Krasny Kut – Yaroslavskaya”.

In the course of the project, our repair teams will replace 16 poles and about 400 insulators. It is planned to clear about 17 hectares of power lines right-of-ways from trees and shrubs. Because of the difficulty in accessing the power lines, all the clearing works will be carried out manually using chainsaws.

Our power engineers plan to install modern digital fault indicators on 13 overhead lines. This device makes it easier and faster to find the damaged sections on the line and restore them.

Yury Kaverznev, Director of Labinsk branch of Kubanenergo PJSC, said: “In 2019 much works lies ahead of us, which will increase the lifetime of power equipment and ensure its reliable operation during the high demand season. The frequency of power interruptions in the winter depends on how well we carry out repairs in spring and summer.”
