Power engineers from Armavir branch of Kubanenergo PJSC  (Rosseti Group) have finished overhaul of 28.9km of three high-voltage power lines in the east of the region. These lines are essential for the supply of dozens of socially significant facilities a well as household users in Kavkazsky district.

As part of implementation of the Repair Programme 2019, our power engineers performed a major overhaul of the overhead power lines “Naidenovskaya – Gorkovskaya”, “Gorkovskaya – Ozernaya” and branch lines to 110 kV “Raduga” substation from the line “Kropotkin – Khimzavod”. Out repair crews replaced old porcelain insulators with new stained glass ones which have better insulating capacity and advanced mechanical performance. They have also repaired reinforced concrete pylons and foundations, cleared power lines’ right-of-ways from trees and other vegetation.

These power lines keep light on for several settlements in Kavkazsky district, among which Kropotkin and surrounding villages Gorkovsky, Stepnoy, Losevo, etc.

Rustam Magdeyev, Director of Armavir branch of the Kubanenergo PJSC, said: “Power lines are the arteries of the power grid. This year’s repair programme presupposes significant amount of work at HV power lines: over 240 km of 35-110kV lines area scheduled for repair. Successful implementation of the repair campaign will increase the reliability of electricity supply to consumers and ensure trouble-free operation of power facilities.”
