In 2019 branch of  Kubanenergo PJSC  (Rosseti Group) Southwestern electric networks plans to repair 16 substations of 35-110kV. The total cost of this power upgrade project will amount 27 million rubles.

Among the substations scheduled for repair there are large ones: “Divnomorskaya” in Gelendzhik and “Severo-Zapadnaya” in Novorossiysk. These grid facilities keep lights on for more than 13 thousand homes and several facilities of social infrastructure. In the course of works our power engineers will repair transformers, switches, voltage transformers, and disconnectors, and will also install new equipment.

Yegor Voitsekhovsky, Chief Engineer at Southwestern electric networks, said: “High-quality and well-timed repair will improve the reliability of power supply to consumers. During the repairs, our customers will not experience any inconvenience related to power disruptions; if necessary, we’ll use backup power sources to supply all consumers with electricity.”

This Repair Programme is a set of large-scale measures aimed at maintaining the grid facilities in a technically sound state. In total, the branch is responsible for 77 high-voltage substations that are constantly undergoing maintenance, repair or upgrade.
