During his working visit to Krasnodar region, Pavel Livinsky, Director General of Rosseti PJSC, checked the completion stage of the new grid facility on the Taman Peninsula: 220 kV substation “Port” and 220-110-35-10kV power lines. The Head of Rosseti made a helicopter overflight and inspected equipment of the substation.

The construction project is implemented as part of the federal target programme “Social and economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol until 2022”, as well as the project “Construction of a dry cargo sea port “Taman”.

The new substation of total capacity of 432MVA, and 188km of power lines will help unlock the industrial potential of the region and enhance reliability of electricity supply.

For construction of the substation, the company used the most modern digital equipment, mainly of domestic production. Control and management of the main equipment and auxiliary systems at the new power facility are provided by an automated process control system, which processes more than 6.5 thousand signals of the main equipment, remote signals and telemetering. Remote control and switching of equipment at the substation are performed by the dispatcher at the workstation.

Pavel Livinsky commented: “The construction of the substation was carried out ahead of the schedule, given the importance of this power facility for development of the infrastructure of the Taman Peninsula, meeting the needs of the transport and railway crossings of the Crimean Bridge.”
As part of the visit to the “Port” substation, the head of Rosseti also held a videoconferencing meeting with the heads of Kubanenergo branches. The General Director of the company was informed of the current situation and the progress of the autumn-winter period in the regions of presence of Rosseti – the Krasnodar region and the Republic of Adygea. Pavel Livinsky instructed to keep on enhance monitoring of the operation of power grid facilities during the autumn-winter period in order to ensure reliable power supply in the Kuban region.

The head of Rosseti paid particular attention to the implementation of the project of digital transformation of the electric grid complex. We remind you that on December 21, 2018, the Board of Directors of Rosseti approved the concept of “Digital Transformation 2030”, which implies the complete transformation of the power grid infrastructure by the introduction of digital technologies.
