Power engineers from Armavir branch of Kubanenergo  (Rosseti Group) have installed new power transformer at 110kV substation “Gulkevichi”. This power upgrade will help increase reliability of supply in 18 settlements of Gulkevichesky district of Krasnodar region.

In the course of work our specialists replaced outdated transformer with the new one of domestic manufacture that has better technical specifications. This equipment’s been tested and powered up. During these works customers continued to receive electricity supply, as they were transferred to backup sources.     

Subtstation “Gulkevichi” is an essential power facility in Gulkevichesky district keeping lights on for administrative centre of the district and 17 adjacent settlements and several public facilities: nursery schools, schools, health centres, boiler station, communication and water supply facilities.  

Rustam Magdeev, director of Armavir power networks, said: “Installation of new power transformer will help increase reliability of substation especially during the peak demand and ensure uninterrupted andsafe power supply to our customers.”
