Alexander Gavrilov, Director General of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group), informed Andrey Cherezov, Deputy Energy Minister, on the final stage of construction of a new grid facility – 220kV substation “Port” on the Taman Peninsula.
Today, on December 7, as part of a working visit and offsite meeting, the Deputy Energy Minister of the Russian Federation on energy supply of the transport infrastructure of the Taman Peninsula, visited the construction site of the substation “Port”. The event was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Transport of Russia, Rostransmodernization (Modernization of transport system of Russia), SO UES, and Rosseti.
The Deputy Minister reminded that the transport infrastructure facilities of the Taman Peninsula, which are currently being electrified, are constructed as part of the federal target programme “Social and economic development of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol until 2022”, as well as the project “Construction of a dry cargo sea port “Taman”. Some stages of the project will be completed this year.
“By the end of 2018, the new facility will be completed: substation “Port” and overhead power lines of a total length of about 170 km,” said Andrei Cherezov.
Alexander Gavrilov, Head of Kubanenergo, emphasized: “Considering the importance and necessity of this facility for the development of the infrastructure of the Taman Peninsula, to meet the needs of the transport and railway crossings of the Crimean Bridge, the construction of the substation is performed ahead of schedule. Now we have reached the final stage of the project, which will allow us to complete the assigned tasks as soon as possible.”
Kubanenergo PJSC, an affiliate of Rosseti PJSC, is the requester of construction of grid facilities for the Taman Peninsula.
