South-Western branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) has commenced reconstruction work at 35kV “Kotloma” substation. This substation keeps lights on for more than 12 thousand homes and dozens of public facilities at suburbs of Anapa (Anapaskaya, Balka, Tarusino, Rassvet and Zarya villages).
In the course of the project, our specialists will install 10MVA transformer instead of the existing less powerful – 6.3MVA. This will enable connection of new customers and improve quality of supply to current consumers. It is also planned to replace relay protection automation devices that have reached the end of their service life.
‘For our project we plan the work so that to keep disruption to a minimum. Public facilities will be supplied from backup sources,’ said Yegor Voitsekhovsky, chief engineer at South-Western power networks.
The power upgrade project is implemented in accordance with the Investment programme of Kubanenergo 2018-2019. The project is estimated in 29 million rubles.
