The Power Engineering Institute of Advanced Training of Kubanenergo PJSC   hosted a seminar on installation of hardware for self-supporting insulated conductor. Representatives of Spanish company NILED, an expert in production of hardware for self-supporting insulated conductors, were the speakers the seminar. Almost forty  technical managers and specialists from Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) took part in this event.

Representatives of NILED Company spoke about the peculiarities in technology of installing overhead lines using self-supporting insulated conductor. The participants analyzed the factors affecting reliability of overhead lines, errors during installation of transmission lines.

The organizers also demonstrated specialized tools for wire installation, and then they conducted practical exercises at the training base. Employees of company PromEnergoKomplekt told the audience about the features and prospects of production of impregnated wooden poles.

Evgeny Rud, principal of the Power Engineering Institute, said: “The value of the training seminar is that representatives of the company-manufacturer of modern equipment participate in it. NILED is the main initiator of the promotion of innovative technologies for self-supporting insulated conductors. Knowledge of the features of linear hardware and technology of lines installation in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions will significantly improve efficiency of our technical specialists.
