Repair crews from the South-West branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) are repairing low-voltage networks in Anapa, Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Abinsk and Krymsk districts of the region. This repair project will ensure the local customer get reliable supply this autumn-winter season.

Under this project our specialists have installed 53.39km of new cable with larger cross section – this will help increase quality of supply and reduce losses. They also replaced 140 utility poles and 1400 insulators, installed new wires at 403 service points totaling 13km, and overhauled 21 transformer stations. To reduce the risk of technological disruptions caused by vegetation falling on wires, our teams cleared 8 hectares of right-of-ways of power lines along the highways.

Dmitry Golovakha, Director of South-Western power networks, said: “Our plan of preparation of network for autumn-winter season comprises a range of administrative and technical activities. We are now in the thick of repair campaign. Preparation to autumn-winter season is following the schedule and will performed in time. We arrange our work so that to keep disruption to a minimum.”
