Since the beginning of the year, the specialists from Ust-Labinsk  branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) have repaired about 100 km of power lines of 04-10 kV and 18 transformers in the branch’s area of responsibility: Vyselkovsky, Korenovsky, Tbilissky and Ust-Labinsk districts of the region.

As part of the repair programme, to ensure the reliability of power networks and prepare them to autumn-winter season, the branch specialists have upgraded 18 transformer substations, replaced 220 poles of 04-10 kV and carried out maintenance of about 100 kilometers of overhead lines.

Along with the repair works, the power line right-of-ways were cleared from trees and shrubs.

Vasily Malik, First Deputy Director, Chief Engineer of Ust-Labinsk power networks, said: “Compared to the previous years, we can assure an increase in the volume of the repair programme, year by year we undertake enhanced commitments and each time we cope with them. Our main task is reliable power supply, and for this it is necessary to maintain networks and equipment in working condition.”

All electrical installations are objects of increased danger, therefore Kubanenergo pays special attention to the issues of electrical safety of the population. To this end, during the repair of low-voltage networks, our specialists replaced 480 service drops to private households using self-supporting insulated wire. This modern wire ensures reliable transmission of electricity, even in bad weather conditions, and eliminates the possibility of electric shock.
