Preparation of Krasnodar branch of Kubanenergo PJSC (Rosseti Group) to autumn-winter season is at its final stage now. Plan on repair of grid equipment in Krasnodar district (suburbs of Krasnodar, Dinskaya, Seversky, Goryachyi Klyuch districts of the Krasnodar region, as well as Takhtamukaysky and Teuchezhsky districts of the Republic of Adygea) is 90% ready.

Our crew repaired 11 substations of 35-110 kV, almost 150 transformers of 10/0.4 kB, 130 km of overhead power lines of various voltage types; replaced 500 poles, 1.5 thousand insulators and 250   Специалисты в плановом режиме заменили около 500 опор ЛЭП, более 1,5 тысячи изоляторов, 250 service drops. To reduce the risk of technological disruptions caused by vegetation falling on, or coming into contact with wires, our teams cleared 68 hectares of right-of-ways of power lines from trees and vegetation.

The branch’s 5 substations in Krasnodar and its suburbs are at the final stage of reconstruction.

To ensure stable work of power networks during this autumn-winter season, which, as a rule, is the season of peak demand, our power engineers conducted exercises aimed at ensuring the personnel is ready to eliminate technological disruptions in the power grid complex caused by adverse weather.

Andrey Gerasko, director Krasnodar power networks, said: “All organizational and technical measures ensuring safety of the power network during the season of peak demand are carried out in strict accordance with the approved schedule and are constantly monitored. We paid special attention to the provisioning of an emergency reserve: equipment and materials necessary to eliminate disruptions in the operation of equipment during the cold season. Mobile teams are formed and fully staffed for prompt response in case of any emergency situations.”

–We would like to remind that the preparation of grid facilities for operation during autumn-winter season 2018-2019 will be discussed at the Russian Meeting of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, which is taking place within the frameworks of the International Forum “Russian Energy Week” (REW). The participants of the business programme of the forum are the management and specialists of the technical departments of Rosseti PJSC, Kubanenergo PJSC, and other subsidiaries of Rosseti Group. The forum will be held October 3-6, 2018 in Moscow at the Moscow Manege. It will demonstrate the achievements and prospects of the Russian fuel and energy industry and unlock the potential of international cooperation in energy sector. The REW will serve as a platform for discussion of the main challenges faced the energy sector and issues related to introduction, operation and prospects for the development of self-controlled and self-diagnosed digital electrical networks.
